Advisor and Financial Planner

Meet Marcy Holbert

Marcy Holbert joined the Being Financial team in 2025 as a dedicated financial advisor based in the downtown Harrisonburg office. Originally from Newcomerstown, Ohio, Marcy has lived in several cities across the East Coast, from Florida to Pennsylvania, gaining a broad perspective and connecting with people from all walks of life.

After earning her Associate of Science degree from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, Marcy relocated to Virginia and spent over a decade building a successful career in marketing in the Harrisonburg area. Her experience in strategic communication and client service provides a strong foundation for guiding individuals and families through personalized financial planning.

Now, as a financial advisor, Marcy is passionate about helping clients pursue their financial goals, whether that’s retirement planning, investment strategies, saving for college, or managing life transitions. She is especially committed to helping women and families build financial confidence and long-term independence.

Marcy lives in Rockingham County with her husband Jeff and their son. Outside the office, she enjoys homeschooling and organizing educational field trips throughout the region. In her free time, Marcy loves gardening, exploring local hiking trails, and enjoying all the outdoor beauty the Shenandoah Valley has to offer.
