Her Money Circle is a community built on the belief that financial confidence grows one conversation, one question, and one step at a time. Each month, we gather to explore practical financial topics in a welcoming environment where women can learn, reflect, and gain the clarity to make thoughtful decisions with confidence.

This month, we’ll explore how to balance competing financial priorities, including college, retirement, and everyday life, through intentional financial planning.

Every dollar has a purpose, but most of us have more than one financial priority.

Saving for college. Preparing for retirement. Managing everyday expenses. Building emergency savings. Paying down debt. Planning for future goals. The challenge isn’t deciding whether these things matter. It’s deciding how to balance them.

Using college planning as a familiar example, we’ll discuss how financial priorities evolve throughout different stages of life and how thoughtful planning can help families make decisions that align with their goals and values.

Together, we’ll explore questions such as:

• What role do I want to play in helping pay for college?
• How do college and retirement fit into my overall financial plan?
• How do I decide which financial priorities deserve attention first?
• What should happen when one financial goal is complete and those dollars become available for something new?

Rather than focusing on one “right” answer, this discussion encourages participants to think intentionally about the choices they make and the tradeoffs that often accompany them.
